About the Role
The Project Management & Research Intern will support CSEC’s mission by assisting with planning research, data analysis, community engagement efforts, and preparation of written project updates. This role is ideal for someone passionate about equity, eager to learn, and motivated to make a difference through data-driven and community-centered work.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Research & Data Support: Conduct background research, assist in data analysis, and identify trends. Support policy research with a focus on equity and justice issues in urban communities.
Community Engagement Assistance: Participate in engagement efforts, help design culturally responsive materials, and support coordination with community partners.
Project Management Support: Track project timelines and deliverables, assist in organizing materials for meetings and presentations, and contribute to project documentation.
Qualifications:
Education: Enrolled in or recent graduate from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Sociology, or related field.
Skills: Strong research, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
Personal Qualities: Motivated, takes initiative, able to work independently and on a team, adaptable, detail-oriented, mission-focused, flexible and ready to learn in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, and passionate about making a positive impact in communities.
