Dr. Lorin R. Carter
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Lorin R. Carter is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of C-Suite Equity Consulting. With two decades of education and professional experience spanning Civil Engineering, Law, Higher Education, Public Policy, and Urban Planning, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective to complex organizational and community challenges.
Through strategic advisory, research, and capacity-building initiatives, Dr. Carter works with institutions to align strategy, investment, and performance to strengthen organizations and support thriving, resilient communities.
Dr. Carter is a sought-after speaker and trainer and was named a 2020 Dallas Public Voices Fellow through The OpEd Project. Her published work has appeared in national outlets including The Grio, Thrive Global, Blavity, Take The Lead, and Visible. She also serves on the board of the Farmers Market Reinvestment Zone of Dallas, Texas.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Carter enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, supporting local businesses, exploring parks and trails, enjoying live music, and volunteering at her church.
Mario K. Carter
Chief Operational Officer
Mario K. Carter is a diplomatic professional who believes that treating people fair & equal are the key to solving issues. He also believes that listening to others is the key to de-escalating conflicts.
Over the years, Mario has used his collective professional knowledge to make things better in the environments where he works and lives. Mario currently uses his skills to further the mission of C-Suite Equity Consulting through operations and administration and is known to step in to support in any way he can.
A native of Jackson, Mississippi, currently living in Dallas, Texas, Mario enjoys relaxing, spending time with his wife & family, movies, sports, and working out.
